Is the Tea Party Movement Dead

According to national Republican leaders, such as Karl Rove and others, Tea Party candidates are causing the GOP to lose support among the people. Observations made today, dispute that position. According to interviews the vast majority of Americans, who visit the historic district of St. Augustine, Florida, are contemptuous of the politicians. Republicans fair no better than Democrats. So why do the Town Criers, a Committee of the Saint Augustine Tea Party, attract so much attention? (See picture above) “It’s because our Tea Party signs express the sentiments of the people. People are way ahead of the politicians and their respective media outlets on the basic issues,” according to the Town Criers. “The people have no interest in the Republican’s newfound interest in amnesty. They understand that the corruption is on both sides of the aisle,” were comments given by the public.

The upcoming hearings and investigations will only reinforce what is already in the minds of the people.

The IRS Relies on Voluntary Compliance, Reinforced with Fear.

“When patriots like the ones pictured here, Stand up in mass, the game for the IRS will be over,” a Tea Party spokesman said. Continuing, “This may be an opportunity to make meaningful changes regarding tax law. Fair Tax, anyone?"
